Make a Change Day is a student-led, hands-on fundraising experience that empowers Bradley County students to make a change by collecting spare change to support programs that directly benefit their fellow students.
Bold Goals for Make a Change Day:
- Breaking the cycle of poverty
- Meeting immediate basic needs
- Giving kids an equal chance
- Building pathways to a healthy community
How Make a Change Day Works:
- One labeled "Make a Change Day" plastic bag is provided to each Bradley County School student on March 18, 2024
- Students are asked to collect spare change and return collections in the bag on April 5, 2024
- All proceeds directly support United Way funded agencies and programs that benefit Bradley County students, including The Boys and Girls Club of the Ocoee Region, The Caring Place and Housing United
